Frequently asked questions
What methods do you use to dry florals?
There are many different ways to preserve flowers, but we stick with a flower press to flatten and Silica gel or hang drying to preserve their natural form. Flowers take about 4-8 weeks to completely dry, depending on the specific flower.
How long does the overall process take?
The flowers themself take about 4-8 weeks to fully dry, depending on the type of flower. We work on the bouquets in the order they are received. Once your bouquet is next to be worked on, we'll be in touch with some design options and then we will get creating!
What is the best way to keep flowers after my event?
After your event, please keep your flower stems in water or wrapped in a wet paper towel until you can drop them off to us. We want to be sure your flowers don't wilt or start browning so plan on bringing them by within 3 days to ensure the blooms are in the best condition to preserve.
What does the payment process look like?
A non-refundable deposit is due to secure your project on our calendar and will be used to purchase your frame. The remainder is due within 3 days of dropping off our blooms. Full payment is required before work will begin.
Any disclaimers?
Through the drying process, flowers may lose pigment or become a slightly darker shade. We do use color correcting minimally to bring vibrancy back to select floral types and colors.
